HO Scale Slot Car Tires - Racer8838 on Ebay has amazing silicone tires.
I've personally purchased a few for my Autoworld Extractio and 4 gear tires. They are nice. They also fit on old Tyco U-Turn Cars. Hi is are highly recommended on Facebook, and for good reason.
HO and S Scale People: Ebay and Etsy have many sellers selling 3d printed train figures. Beware some of the really cheap ones come from overseas in Asia so may take a while to get to you if you order from the United States. However, some are on really cheap deals now and then. Less than 10.00 for 100 figures isn't bad, even if some of them look sloppy on occassion.... Details are so difficult on that tiny size. Specialty ones do exist that cost a bit more, especially in S scale. There's at least a few sellers selling extremely uh, provocative versions of DC super heros such as Wonder Woman...
PreWired LEds: Prewired LED lights are lights that have a resistor built in for certain voltages. Most Prewired are set up and sold as 12 volt, but they are good enough for up to 18 volt usually without much problems. The most recent set of these I bought on ebay was Chanzon 120Pcs 12V 5Mm LED Diode Lights 7.9 Inch Pre Wired (6 Colors X 20Pcs). LED lights are normally 3 volt but the added built in resister on the prewired make them about perfect for slot car and ho train layouts. I use them all over the place for street lights, building lights, and even in some slot cars as headlights or sirents, etc. I love the blue ones I put on my ghostbusters ecto-1 type model, and an old police car that has a red and blue on top... Some autoworld cars do come with lights, but most HO scale slot cars do not... the ones that do come with them are not very good though, so doing LEDs yourself is better option. My KITT car's LED from autoworld burned out in a few days and I replaced the lights in there with these Chanzon pretty easily. Old Artin cars that are larger than HO scale usually have incandescent lights in them instead of LEDs due to the era they came from. Prewired work in them too but don't epect them to come on much if you do that since Artin is only 7 volt, so the power to turn on a 12 volt prewired is higher than it is for HO scale where you are normally running at least 9 volt to just move... voltage and wattage is important when considering how motorers and lights run together under the hood...
Chassis Replacements: Viper, and Jag Hobbies are great inline motor replacements for old pancake moters, and they run very well. Jag's listings of replacement motors are mainly at https://jaghobbies.com/ho_slot_cars/jag-intro.htm. Be sure to use the correct replacement. For example DR-1 replaces Autoworld 4 gear, NC-2 replaces Autoworld Extraction, etc. Email him if you have questions. It may take him a few days to respond but he's very receptive and will respond to questions.
Bodies:There's a boat load of resin bodies people are putting together on Ebay. However, be careful to NOT give them bad reviews on ebay or you may get a death threat in response like Jeff's HO Scale gave me... Idiots like that keep ebay perfect rating since they complain and chew out customers that give them bad ratings and are constantly harping ebay customer service to remove bad revies. This is one reason I hate using ebay too much, but for rsome old stuff it is useful, especially if it's for things that you cannot find elsewhere.
Artin, and old models: Cheri lady on ebay has a ton of Artin cars, almost a an entire warehouse, but her prices are a bit more than other folks selling in bulk to just move stock. She's very nice. She inhertied her supply from eithe ra husband or spouse that was donig ebay Artin many years ago. I don't remember his name right now but may later. He's got a ton of videos on youtube about how to use Carrerra and Artin together...
Evan Designs is a great website to buy LEDs when you are after something special like the lights to simulate the Knight Rider car, or flashing ambulance lights for Ghostbuster cars or police scenes. They are a bit pricey. However, it is quality stuff. I did buy the Knight Rider lights but they were too big to put in to my S-Scale cars, so I put them under an old Artin Car for now...
