Before you press start

Keyboard, sound, and mobile play

Click inside the emulator before using the keyboard. Follow its own start prompt and control instructions. A physical keyboard is often useful; touch controls and gamepad support vary by game and emulator.

Sound may need a click inside the player first. On a phone, try landscape orientation. Fullscreen requires browser support; the embedded host may also offer its own fullscreen control.

Loading, restarting, and saving

Emulators may take time to fetch and initialize. Changing games, restarting, or unloading ends the current session; unsaved progress may be lost. Do not assume browser sessions preserve saved games.

Only one emulator is loaded at once. Use Stop / unload to release it, or open the original host if the embedded experience fails.

Where the games live

Games and emulators run at their original hosts. This page supplies links and hosted players; it does not distribute game files. Loading an inline player connects your browser to Internet Archive and its supporting services.

Archive availability does not imply public-domain status. Game and artwork credits remain with their respective creators. See each source item for its terms and documentation.
