On January 23, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14176, "Declassification of Records Concerning the Assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.," directing full release of records that had been withheld for decades under the JFK Records Act of 1992. The National Archives (NARA) has since released all three collections in full — this page links directly to NARA's own hosting pages for each, plus the official government findings that preceded them.
This is a genuinely settled case in the "proven" sense that matters most here: the government has now released everything it previously classified. Whether the released material changes anyone's view of who was responsible is a separate, still-debated question — the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations reached different conclusions on that point, and we link to both below rather than picking a side.
These are the National Archives' own release pages — we don't rehost, mirror, or index individual documents ourselves. Across the three collections there are now well over six million pages combined, most digitized as scanned PDFs sorted by Record Identification Form (RIF) number rather than by topic or name, so there's no shortcut to "browsing" them the way you'd browse a curated database. NARA is the right place to search and download the actual files.
Some records in the 2025 releases contain unredacted personal information about private individuals who were investigated, interviewed, or merely mentioned decades ago and are still alive. NARA has flagged this directly on its own pages and is working with the Social Security Administration on it — we're passing that warning along rather than glossing over it.

The core collection under the JFK Records Act of 1992. NARA released the remaining previously-classified material in three batches on March 18–20, 2025 — roughly 80,000 pages in under 24 hours, one of the largest single record releases in U.S. history — with smaller supplemental batches continuing through the year as agencies finished review and digitization.
Records concerning the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, released under the same Executive Order 14176 directive. NARA's page tracks each release batch separately, including a May 7, 2025 release that added roughly 64,700 pages along with 17 audio files.
Records concerning the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., coordinated with ODNI, DOJ, FBI, CIA, and the State Department and released July 21–23, 2025 — more than 230,000 pages of FBI investigative files, internal memos, and surveillance records, some of which had originally been sealed until 2027.
