This page is both the GLAMWalk application index and a working keyboard-shortcut reference. The shortcuts below are intended as practical defaults, not a promise that every installation or customized keymap will match exactly.
Windows and application updates can change shortcuts. For production work, check the application's own shortcut/keymap editor if a command does not respond.
These are the shortcuts that tend to pay for themselves immediately when working across browsers, Blender, image editors, terminals, documents, and file windows.

Screenshots: Snipping Tool vs. Paint vs. Print Screen
Short version: Use Win+Shift+S when you need to capture part of the screen. Use Win+Shift+R when you need a short screen recording. Use Paint when you need simple pixel-level drawing, resizing, cropping, text, or quick markup after the capture. For serious image cleanup, masking, compositing, or layered work, move the image into GIMP/Krita instead.
Shortcut
Action
Win+Shift+S
Open Snipping Tool overlay and choose rectangular, freeform, window, or full-screen capture.
Win+Shift+R
Open Snipping Tool screen-recording capture.
PrtScn
Use the configured Print Screen action; on current Windows it can invoke screen snipping.
Alt+PrtScn
Capture only the active window to the clipboard.
Win+PrtScn
Capture the full screen and save the image in Pictures\Screenshots.
Ctrl+C
Copy a completed snip from Snipping Tool.
Ctrl+S
Save a snip.
Alt+M
Choose a snipping mode while Snipping Tool is active.
Alt+N
Start a new snip using the last mode.
Alt+D
Set a capture delay.
Tool / method
Best use
What it is not
Snipping Tool
Fast screenshots, selected regions, windows, full screen, annotations, saving/sharing, and screen recordings.
Not a replacement for a full raster editor.
Print Screen
Very fast screen capture. Alt+PrtScn is useful when you want only the active window.
Not an editor by itself; the result normally goes to the clipboard or the configured screenshot destination.
Paint
Quick crop/resize, simple drawing, text, shapes, basic pixel edits, and making a screenshot readable before inserting it into documentation.
Not a layer-based photo/compositing system like GIMP or Krita.
Classic/old Paint workflow
For years, the simple workflow was PrtScn → open Paint → Ctrl+V → crop/mark up → save. That remains a useful emergency/simple-edit workflow.
It is slower than Win+Shift+S for capturing only the part of the screen you actually need.
GIMP / Krita
Detailed image cleanup, masks, layers, painting, compositing, texture work, and final asset preparation.
Usually excessive for a one-off screenshot crop.
Microsoft documents Win+Shift+S, Win+Shift+R, PrtScn, Alt+PrtScn, and Snipping Tool's own save/copy shortcuts. See the official Microsoft links in the sources section below.

Shortcut Strategy for GLAMWalk Work
Learn the Windows layer first.Alt+Tab, Ctrl+W, Win+E, Win+Shift+S, Win+V, Ctrl+Shift+Esc, and Win+Arrow are useful almost everywhere.
Then learn the application's high-frequency tools. In Blender that means G/R/S and F3; in GIMP it means selection, crop, move, brush and export; in video editors it means playback and In/Out controls.
Use application keymap editors when needed. Blender, Krita and other serious tools allow shortcuts to be customized. A personal keymap can be more valuable than memorizing hundreds of defaults.
Do not confuse a shortcut with a workflow. A shortcut that launches a capture is only the beginning: save, name, preserve source material, and move the result into the appropriate GLAMWalk processing stage.
