Early Life: Woodrow Wilson was born on December 28, 1856, in Staunton, Virginia. He grew up in the South during the Civil War and later pursued higher education, earning a Ph.D. in political science.

Career Before Presidency: Wilson became a professor and later president of Princeton University. He then entered politics as Governor of New Jersey, where he supported progressive reforms.

Presidency (1913–1921): Wilson served as the 28th President of the United States. He led the country during World War I and proposed the League of Nations to promote peace, though the U.S. did not join. His administration also passed major economic reforms including the Federal Reserve Act.

Later Life: Wilson suffered a severe stroke near the end of his presidency, which limited his ability to govern. He died on February 3, 1924, and is remembered for his leadership during a critical time in world history.
